The Farm

With a humble 0.3 acres over a couple plots across Salt Spring Island, Acorn Tiny Farm is a small-scale farm with focus on big flavour.

We use regenerative and organic practices, not only being mindful of providing our community with local, fresh food, but also of our role and responsibility in caring for the land we grow on.

As far as veg goes, we grow a mix of classic favourites and wide variety exciting heirlooms. We aim to generate bountiful harvests to share, but also love having fun and experimenting while doing so (…we have 21 gorgeous and delicious varieties of tomato starts already growing this year!)

The Farmer

Having grown up on a farm in Saskatchewan, Luke knew the importance of where food comes from from a young age. Now, as an adult with his own family, this fact remains as pertinent as ever and has expanded into his views on access to good food for all.

If you see Luke at the Famer’s Market, there’s a good chance his 5-year-old “apprentice” will be tow, complete with a shovel in one hand and a carrot in another.
