FAQs

  • It’s exactly what it sounds like!
We are currently growing on two plots on Salt Spring Island, totaling around 0.3 of an acre, with a separate greenhouse area to begin some of our starts. Although tiny in space, through succession planting and thoughtfully planned out beds, we are able to pack a lot of veg into our tiny farm space.

  • There are a few ways you can get your hands on our veg:

    1. The Salt Spring Island Tuesday Farmers Market.

    2. The Local Salt

    3. Our 20-week CSA boxes

  • CSA is short for Community Supported Agriculture. It’s a way for local folks to regularily receive fresh food, while providing farms and farmers with job security. Think of it as an investment into local business with a delicious return.

This year, we’re offering a here model; meaning that for 20 weeks during our peak growing season, you’ll get whatever deliciousness our farm grows, fresh to you every week.

Want to know more about our CSA offering? Ready to sign up for 20 weeks of fresh veg? Check out our listing here.

  • We whole-heartedly believe in organic principles and practices and take these very seriously when growing food (our family eats what we grow too!). However, with our growing area distributed over multiple small plots, with hopefully more to come in the 2025 growing season, this make it incredibly difficult and expensive for our tiny farm to become certified as organic.
